What started out as a passion for baking, exploded into a full-on home-based baking business. Fagie Bakes, the name came about because of the lady owner’s love for her beloved kitty cat named Fagie. The back story is she found the abandoned kitten since she was only 2 weeks old and took care of it ever since. Besides having a talent for it, the owner has completed a grueling diploma at Le Cordon Bleu.
She has a strong belief and philosophy for her treats. Keep things simple. Modern dessert has taken on a complicated twist, whereby people are trying to get as many flavors in them as possible. But Fagie Bakes believes in back to basics. Even a simple treat like dark chocolate pound cake is done just the way it is meant to be. Rich and chocolatey, the right amount of crumbliness. Focused on only using the good stuff that goes in, and nothing fake nor nasty.
Burnt Cheesecake has been all the rage lately from the period leading up to Hari Raya. But you cannot claim that you have eaten the purrfect version of it until you have tried this. Soft and creamy, not too heavy on the palette. There is even a KETO friendly version if you would like, flour-less, and using a sugar substitute.
A great tart shell is an art rather than a science. Even if you follow the recipe exactly, you may not get the right consistency and strength, the buttery taste. Her quest for perfection makes every batch of tarts she bakes different but better.
The crème de la crème is her lemon curd tart. Handcrafted in very limited and small batches from Meyer lemons. The lemon curd is a myriad of dancing flavors and excitement, stimulating your taste buds. Sour. Sweet. Rich. The smell and that anticipation when you sink your teeth into the soft lemon curd, the rush of sourness followed by a wave of sweetness, makes it so unforgettable.
A mish-mash dessert box option now is available if you are not sure what to get and want to try everything at one go.
Don’t take my word for it. Try it and place your orders using the google form below.
Note: collection is only over weekends and Mondays. You need to order at least 2 days in advance. =) Not being difficult. Just being a cat.

Dessert to die for
Personally tried her dessert before. I must say her specialty is in cheesecake. Her skill in making the base of the cheesecake or tart crust is out of this world. Very good old authentic taste. I dare say that once you tried her desserts it is almost impossible to eat pastries or cakes from other places anymore. Too bad the owner only bakes in small batches.
